About The New York Cardiological Society
In 1996, The New York Cardiological Society, Inc. (founded in1928 and the oldest
cardiological organization in the United States) and the New York State Chapter,
American College of Cardiology merged. In becoming the educational arm of the
New York State Chapter, The New York Cardiological Society, Inc. assumed responsibility
for the extensive Continuing Medical Education program offered by the New York
State Chapter. Educational activities are funded by unrestricted educational grants.
The New York Cardiological Society has been formed as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit
corporation under the federal and New York State tax codes. Contributions are fully
deductible under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
