Participation on the New York State Chapter Council, on New York State Chapter committees, and on topical working groups enables members to discuss important issues with their peers. Elected Councilors help set the policies which the New York State Chapter will follow. Appointed members of the New York State Chapter’s numerous committees help to shape the activities of the Chapter, particularly in the areas of advocacy and education. In addition to internal committees, the New York State Chapter places representatives on key committees and task forces of the Medical Society of the State of New York. Member participation is always welcomed.
